SADAF - MAN OF ME

SADAF is a New York City-based producer, vocalist, DJ, and multidisciplinary performance artist with deep roots in both the NYC and Montreal DIY/noise scenes. SADAF's production methods waver relentlessly between layered methodical constructions and radical free improvisations: Her rough, churning industrial noise, haunting vocals, and frenzied dance-culture deconstructions weave anomalous narratives focusing on the political machinations of glamour. 

MAN OF ME is a self produced conflation of catchy melodicism and discombobulated dance tropes, balancing dual urges for confrontational experimentation and narrative cohesion with melodramatic vulnerability. Following her first single, C.F.C. (a willfully chaotic shredding of club beats and pan-global influences), "Man of Me" offers a moodier, subdued counterpart, indicating the broad timbral and emotional range of Sadaf's artistic practice.
